It was a scheduled visit at the dermatologist..

And a scheduled photoshoot with teammates as well..

Now there's one big problem...

How do I put on makeup when I am not allowed to...

But was required else I won't look good in photos..

Well thanks to these two products..

Maybelline Brow Define + Fill Duo in Brown

L'oreal Colour Riche Matte Moist in Glamour Fuchsia

Only these two are required to look good in camera...

Sooooh.. Here goes my transformation..

From just lipstick...

Added eyebrow makeup..

And tada.. Photoready look...

No powder or foundation..

Just barefaced..

It's all about lips 👄💄

My mom gave me her antique samsonite overnight bag... Who am I not to accept it... It's samsonite and lasts a lifetime.

Soooooh.. I decided to keep my valuables in it... 

My lippies..

To date.. Got 50 (almost) lipsticks... Not including those that expired and thrown...

Nope.. I am not a lippie addict...

My MACs

14 MAC lippies... Mostly are mattes and retro mattes... This will always be my favorite brand... Good staying power and variety of colors.. 

My NYXes

Got 5 butter lipsticks, 2 mattes and 5 soft matte lip creams.. 

The butter lipsticks are good for just-need-to-have-color-on-my-lips... Not long lasting...

Matte lipsticks can be used if I don't want my MACs to be overused...

SMLCs are my fave too.. Long lasting and great shades.

My L'OREALs

Only 4 of them... Not a fan of them at first.. But when I used this with my MAC prep and prime lip primer I began to love them.. A bit drying though compared to my MACs...

My REVLONs

Got 4 of them.. 2 colorburst matte balms and 2 lacquer balms. My fave during workiouts and trainings..

My HAPPY SKINs

2 lippies from them... A bit drying though but I love the colors...

My EVER BILENAs

Yes I do have them.. Started buying when I left my lippie and this is the only available and cheap lippie I can have... Loved it and it's not drying... Not a matte though.. I use this when I have to run an unexpected errands.. 

My AVONs

Yeah got them too.. These are my orangey shades... Gifts from friends.. 

Think can't pull off an orange lippie so they are the least lippie I use...

My WATERPROOFs

Really a waterproof one... These I use during races... Yeah.. The secret why my lippie stays after 2 hours running.. With sweat and water... Still not washed... 

Can't use it as a daily lippie though.. Coz it felt like paint on ur lips..

My GLOSSES/BALMS

I used them before I apply my lippie.. Moisturizing lips before applying lipstick is important to keep em from drying and discoloration... 

LIP PRIMERs and LINERS

One way to keep lippies stay on your lips is by applying primers and lipliners...

True to it's word.. MAC Prep and Prime lip primer is the best so far... I don't need to apply lip balms as this gives moisture as well.. That is also one of the reasons my lippies stay on my lips for hours.. 

Lipliners also help in making our lippies last long... 

EXFOLIATE

And lastly... We should exfoliate our lippies.. Most especially someone like me who can't live without lippies... 

It will keep our lips natural color and softness...

No Makeup Look

Just a fresh no makeup look using MMUs

I've tried two or three brands.. But only Ellana Minerals Makeup line did not break me out...

It even improved the condition of my skin..

Sooooh... Here's my mmu makeup...

From primers, to foundations, to concealers, finishing powders, blushies and eyeshadows... I have them all in different shades...

This is my everyday go makeup.. Gives me a healthy glow... Easy to apply and very pigmented but doesn't look like you have make up...

Here's the output of using only their loose powder foundie in Espresso con Pana and Lust blushie...

No eye/brow makeup... Just as simple as that...

And oh... My skin does not like their pressed powders... Too bad.. :(

But it's okay... I don't mind using their loose powders...

A Rainy MOTD

A rainy day indeed..

To brighten up the gloomy day... Decided to exert extra effort to prettify my face.. ;)

So here it goes...

First is... I applied the sunblock from my dermatologist.. 

And as a moisturizer.. I applied Myra-E BB vitaglow BB cream.. The consistency is somewhat like a tinted moisturizer.. So I consider that as one.

To brighten up my undereye.. I applied K-palette Kuma Concealer... Just a few dot is enough... And spread with pointed foundation brush...

To set the bb cream and the concealer... Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder is applied... I really love this powder as it gives a certain glow in the face... And controls my oilies...

And... To add color to my eyes... I roadtested my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette... I love that it is really pigmented... I find it hard to show the color using my other eyeshadows.. So I guess this is one good investment..

I used the Maybeline Gel Liner in brown as eyeliner (okay.. I need to improve on this).. To curl my eyelashes.. I used the Fanny Serrano Eyelash Curler (they said it is a dupe of Shu Uemura) and K-palette 1 day volume mascara..

Apologies on my eyebrows.. Yeah I know it needs some clean up... ;)

And speaking of brows, to shade it (because it's really thin) I used the In2It eyebrow powder... Then brushed it with ELF eyebrow gel... Both in brown.. 

For my cheeks... I used Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink.. It's quite shimmery.. But it showed as a nice glow in my cheeks...

Lastly, for my lips.. I used Ever Bilena's lip color in 712.. Err.. Just a side comment... The gtalkers are raving for KBs lippie in SDTG... So they researched the lippie she used... And tada.. Here it is.. Just road testing it...

Rub and Ribs, Kapitolyo, Pasig

Got good feedbacks from friends...

We attempted to take our brunch here one time but was unlucky since it is still closed...

We tried again last Monday... We had our early dinner...

I ordered solo ribs with garlic spinach mushroom as side...

 

And hubby ordered beef... (Oh my bad... Was not able to capture a photo)...

All I can say is... Too good value for money...

 

We only spent PHP540...

Pwede syang balik-balikan...

I've always loved lingeries...

Not the sexy ones... Just the ordinary type ones...

Was glad to meet an online seller friend... Bought most of my VS undies from her.. I do hope there will be a VS shop here in.Manila...

Since I haven't bought VS bra to pair with my undies... I bought from La Senza...

Luckily there's a promo... Buy 2 take 1...

Work/Life Balance.. what does this mean?

weekdays...

4am-6pm - junepets' time... wake up in the morning for training... running... need to lose weight and training for the upcoming runs..

i used to train after office hours... either Ayala Triangle or BHS... but since i transferred to a new company, need to adjust my schedule.. turns out, i enjoyed running in the morning now... ;)

6-8am - hubby time... after running in the morning, need to prepare coffee for hubby... cook our baon... iron our clothes.. best time of the day....

8am-8pm - ACN time... work work work... :D

8pm-4am - hubby time... sleeping time.. ;)

weekends: spend this with the most important people in my life..

hubby time, family time, friends bonding time, running time.. ;)
